With all the traveling (driving) I’ve been doing for work, I’ve been listening to the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. I read the first few books in my late-teens but never completed the series. I restarted the audiobooks from the first book and have really enjoyed them. Frank Muller did a superb job (he read books 2-4) and after his car accident that left him unable to be a professional narrator, it was picked up by George Guidall who is excellent as well. If you have access to a library system that has these on audiobook, I highly recommend them. A few cheesy spots, but that’s King for you.
Anyways, I cry your pardon, here is the Gunslinger’s Creed:
I do not aim with my hand; he who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father. I aim with my eye.
I do not shoot with my hand; he who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father. I shoot with my mind.
I do not kill with my gun; he who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father. I kill with my heart.
